Bios
Joanne Rixon lives in the shadow of an active volcano with a rescue chihuahua named after a dinosaur. Her stories have recently appeared in Liminal Stories, Reckoning 2, and Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and her book reviews have appeared in the Cascadia Subduction Zone and the Seattle Times. She is an organizer with the North Seattle Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers meetup, and a member of STEW and the Dreamcrashers. Patrick Hurley was an editor for becker&mayer books for three years, where he got to work on Marvel, Star Trek, and Star Wars books. He’s had short fiction published in Galaxy’s Edge, Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores, Flame Tree Publishing, Penumbra, and The Drabblecast. He has two stories coming out this year so far in different anthologies: Mad Scientist Journal’s Battling In All Her Finery and Hy Bender’s Ghosts on Drugs. In 2017, Patrick attended the Taos Toolbox Writer’s Workshop. He’s a member of STEW, The Dreamcrashers, and SFWA.
