Rarely published but prolific, Derek has written comic-book scripts, short stories, radio plays, role-playing game manuals, novels (or, at least, parts of novels), screenplays, and poetry. He currently lives and works in Seattle.Andy‘s stories have appeared in Analog, Apex, Clarkesworld, Daily Science Fiction, Interzone, and Rich Horton’s Year’s Best Science Fiction. His translations of Chinese sci-fi have appeared in Apex, Clarkesworld, and Pathlight. He translated the novel ‘The Devil’s Building Blocks’ by Liu Cixin for Tencent Pictures. His original novel ‘Plague of Gods’ is represented by Virginia Kidd Agency, and is currently seeking a home.
