Joanne Rixon‘s writing has appeared in The Cascadia Subduction Zone, Breath & Shadow, Stupefying Stories, GlitterShip, and Crossed Genres Magazine. She is an internally-displaced person in the Pacific Northwest; a former resident of North Seattle, she currently lives in a less-gentrified neighborhood in Tacoma. She is an organizer with the North Seattle Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Meetup, and has recently begun applying her organizing skills to local progressive politics. Ask her about how to call your elected representatives, or follow her on twitter @JoanneRixon for angry yelling about the other Washington.
Oscar McNary scribbles down the whispers that flow through his cell in the Seattle catacombs. He slides the stories page by page through a ventilation grate into the yellow world above. The scraps go flapping over the soaked streets. Recent publications include Discovery: QSF’s Second Annual Flash Fiction Contest; Ghosts in Gaslight, Monsters in Steam: Gay City Anthology V; and Minor Arcana’s Drawn to Marvel anthology. He has three chapbooks. Everything he writes is true.
