Bios (more to come)

Jon Lasser lives in Ballard with his wife and two children.

He is a member of the Clarion West class of 2016. His stories have won the Writers of the Future contest and been shortlisted for the James White award. They have appeared or are forthcoming in Untethered: A Magic iPhone Anthology; Writers of the Future, Volume 32; Penumbra Magazine; and elsewhere.

When not writing or working in the tech industry, Jon plays with his children, cooks, drinks at Ballard’s six (or is that eight?) microbreweries, and scuba dives, but not after microbrewery visits. He prefers cold-water over tropical diving, though he wouldn’t turn down a vacation to Maui or Bonaire.

Much to her chagrin, Elizabeth Guizzetti discovered she was not a cyborg and growing up to be an otter would be impractical, so she began writing stories. Elizabeth currently lives in Seattle with her husband and two poodles. When not writing, she loves hiking and birdwatching.

She is the author and illustrator of independent comics:  Faminelands,  Lure and Out for Souls&Cookies! Her debut novel, Other Systems, was a 2015 Finalist for the Canopus Award for excellence in Interstellar Fiction. She continues to write science fiction, horror, and fantasy. Her third novel, The Grove, came out September 13th.
